Change Management & Training

Technology implementations fail more often because of people than because of technology. A system can be configured perfectly and still deliver none of its expected value if the people using it do not understand it, do not trust it, or were not involved in its rollout. Change management is not a soft add-on at the end of a project — it is how you protect your implementation investment.

Alt Consult Solutions embeds change management and training into the delivery of technology projects, ensuring your team is prepared, capable, and confident before and after go-live.

Who This Is For

  • Businesses implementing new systems where user adoption is critical to success
  • Organisations where previous system rollouts have resulted in low adoption or workaround behaviours
  • Projects where significant process change accompanies the technology change
  • Leadership teams who want structured communication and stakeholder engagement through a transition

What We Do

We design and deliver a change programme that runs alongside your technical implementation — covering stakeholder engagement, communication, training design and delivery, and adoption measurement. We work with your team to understand the change from the perspective of the people experiencing it, not just the people building it.

Deliverables

  • Change impact assessment — structured analysis of how each user group is affected by the change
  • Stakeholder engagement plan — targeted approach for engaging and aligning key stakeholders throughout the project
  • Communication plan — sequenced communications tailored to each audience
  • Training needs analysis — identification of what each role needs to learn and to what level
  • Training materials — role-specific guides, quick-reference cards, and process documentation
  • Training delivery — facilitated sessions (in-person or remote) for end users and super-users
  • Adoption tracking — post-go-live measurement of system usage and identification of adoption gaps

Our Process

  1. Assess — understand the change, the impacted groups, and the readiness of the organisation
  2. Plan — design the change programme alongside the technical delivery plan
  3. Engage — run stakeholder engagement and communications throughout the project
  4. Train — deliver training in advance of go-live; build super-user capability
  5. Support — provide post-go-live support to resolve adoption blockers quickly
  6. Measure — track adoption and identify any areas requiring additional intervention

Frequently Asked Questions

Can change management be added to an existing implementation project?

Yes, though the earlier it is introduced the better. Change management added mid-project is less effective than change management planned from the start. If your project is already underway, we can assess the gap and design an accelerated programme to address it.

Do you deliver training yourselves or do you work with our internal trainers?

Both. We can design training materials for your internal team to deliver, or deliver training directly, or a combination — whatever suits your capacity and timeline.

How do you measure adoption?

We define adoption metrics at the start of the engagement — typically system usage data, process compliance indicators, and user confidence surveys — and track them over the weeks following go-live.
